CarPlay Dashboard

The original project targets an embedded automotive display, so the portfolio now presents it as a browser simulator that mirrors the same dashboard logic: speed state, route guidance, media focus, and dense information packing on a fixed in-vehicle surface.

Embedded here: a focused simulator built from the project’s embedded dashboard behavior and layout constraints.
Embedded UI Simulator
Target surface 1024 × 600 dashboard

Built around a fixed in-vehicle display with glance-first density.

Primary loop Telemetry + navigation

Speed, route progress, and media all share one coherent state model.

Mobile fit Scaled preview shell

The stage stays readable on phones without introducing nested scrolling.

The simulator keeps the information hierarchy of the hardware UI intact: a central driving surface, route stack, media state, and secondary vehicle telemetry, all tuned for glanceability.

What The Embed Shows

A browser-runtime stand-in for the hardware interface, demonstrating the animation pacing, state transitions, and compositional density that define the real embedded dashboard.

Key Product Logic

  • Speed and telemetry update as one coherent vehicle state
  • Navigation and media compete for attention without clutter
  • All major information blocks fit a fixed automotive viewport

Embedded Constraints

Designing for a 1024×600 automotive display forces hard prioritization. Touch targets, typography, animation curves, and panel groupings need to read at a glance instead of feeling like a resized tablet app.

Portfolio Fit

A browser simulator is the right bridge here because the original target hardware is not web-native. It still demonstrates the actual design logic of the system instead of reducing the project to screenshots and prose.
