Nothing. Chemigo does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. There are no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising networks, and no trackers of any kind in the app.
All of your progress (XP, streaks, hearts, completed lessons, flashcard mastery, and molecules you've built) is stored on your device using Apple's on-device database (SwiftData).
If you are signed in to iCloud, this same progress is also synced through your private CloudKit database so it stays consistent across your own devices. This data sits in your personal iCloud account, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. The developer has no access to it and cannot read it.
Signing in is entirely optional; the app works fully without it. If you choose to sign in, Chemigo receives the identifier Apple provides and, only if you share it, your name. These are stored locally on your device (and in your private iCloud) purely to label your profile and keep your progress linked to you. They are never sent to any server run by the developer.
You can unlink your Apple ID and erase everything at any time from the You tab → Settings → “Delete account & data.” This clears your progress and profile on the device and in your private iCloud.
Chemigo stores a couple of preferences (such as whether haptics are on and whether you've seen the intro) in the standard iOS settings store on your device. This never leaves your device and is not used to identify you.
Chemigo is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children. There is no chat, no social layer, and no external links to unsafe content.
Chemigo was released under the name MoleMates until July 2026. The rename changed the app's branding and interface only. It did not change what is collected, where progress is stored, or who can read it. The answer to all three is the same as it has always been: nothing, your device and your own iCloud, and only you.
