Expanding Access and Inspiring Future Leaders in Radiology
Dr. Dorathy Tamayo-Murillo leads outreach and engagement efforts in the UCSD Department of Radiology. As a Mexican-Filipino American and first-generation college graduate, she draws from her own journey to mentor students from underserved communities and encourage them to pursue careers in STEM and healthcare.
Her passion for expanding access to radiology services drives her work to strengthen community partnerships and create meaningful opportunities for education, mentorship, and improved patient care. Through her leadership, the department remains actively connected to the communities it serves.
